This post has nothing to do with organizing except to track your workouts (in an organized manner!) so you can visually see your progress! Instead, it’s about finding your motivation.
I used to be one of the most inconsistent people when it came to working out. I’ve worked with a trainer for accountability, tried home DVDs, tried group classes, worked out with friends, but nothing really “stuck” on its own until about two years ago when I realized that exercising lifts my brain fog (not a fan of brain fog AT ALL!!).
Since then, I don’t see exercising as a chore, I see it as feeling amazing, respecting my body, and feeling crystal clear so I can give more, Love more, live more.
Every time I look at this chart (which is daily bc it’s right above my computer!) I feel so proud of myself since this has been a lifelong struggle.
My advice to anyone resisting some kind of healthy task that should be done (like organizing!) is to tie the task to something you reallllly value. I obviously value thinking clearly! But for example, if you don’t enjoy organizing, what happens after you organize? How do you feel? How does that feeling then influence what you do next? And what happens after that?! And so on and so on.
One powerful decision can lead to another! And all these powerful decisions repeated over and over eventually become your habits which then turn into your results! Random thought process as I sit here staring at my exercise tracker! This post ended up being about organizing lol. Thank you for reading <3
