How to Organize Essential Oils - DIY Oil Organizer

I keep all of my essential oils organized inside of a wooden box (to keep the oils away from sunlight). My husband and I made this oil organizer together.

How to Make a DIY Essential Oil Organizer

To make this DIY essential oil organizer we purchased a wooden box from our local craft store (Michaels). Next, we bought a bright purple gardening knee pad from the dollar store.

We cut the knee pad to fit inside the box and punched appropriate sized holes into the pad with an apple corer. The apple corer worked great because we could bend it to match the size of the different sized oil bottles that we wanted to store. 🙂

Ed sanded & stained the box, and I decoupaged a napkin to the inside lid for added decoration.

And now all of our essential oils are nicely organized inside this pretty box, all for less than five dollars! The bottles won’t touch or bang into each other and they won’t fall over. The box fits perfectly inside of a cabinet or drawer, and makes accessing the oils super quick & easy!
