Who can join the group calls?

The weekly group calls are open to anyone who subscribes to them.

When are the group calls?

The group calls are held weekly. There are 52 phone calls in a year. All calls are live! Calls are scheduled on different days and at different times each month to accommodate the various time zones and schedules. Exact dates and times are posted at the beginning of each month in your online account. Once you join “Ask Alejandra,” you are guaranteed a spot on each call (regardless if you register late!). If a call needs to be cancelled on our end, it will be rescheduled.

How do the group calls work?

Once you register for the calls, you’ll receive a dial-in number with a PIN code to use OR a link to click to access the call from your computer. You can call from any phone (landline, old cell phone, flip phone, etc.) or computer that has internet access. You can also use Skype. You’ll receive reminders leading up to the call so you don’t forget.

Once everyone calls in, I talk to one person at a time while everyone else is on mute (there will be a button (#1 on your keypad) to push if you want to “raise your hand” and ask a question). The calls are live and I take as many questions as I can in the 60-minutes. After the 60 minutes, if you choose to stay on the phone, you’ll be partnered up with another member in a private discussion for an interactive exercise to help you get organized!

How do the private accountability exercises work?

After our 60-minute group call, if you’d like to stay on the phone, we pair you up with another member in the program that’s in a similar life stage as you and give you a suggested exercise to discuss (or if you prefer less structure, just chat and support each other!). Each week we pair you up with someone new so you get different perspectives. This part of the call is optional. Your conversation with your partner is private and will NOT be recorded. If you’d like, you’re free to exchange contact information and keep in touch as accountability buddies for staying organized! Or, if you prefer to stay anonymous, that’s fine too!

Praise from Callers

“I have been stuck for a long time and this was exactly what I needed to get me unstuck.

I loved the inspiration from hearing others’ questions and answers. I loved having a person to partner with. I got unstuck and began working!!!!!!”

— Judy, Oregon

“The call was great.

It’s amazing how much you can learn and how motivating it is just hearing the advice given to others.”

— Kourtney, Louisiana

“I just want to thank you for doing the calls.

What an inspiration to get things done. While I am listening, I pretend like you are in the room and I have done a lot during the time. I have enjoyed both partners you give me to talk to. We have continued to help one another. My husband is even noticing how much I am getting done.”

— Wendy, Texas

“Listening to Alejandra’s advice and her gentle way of dealing with people always calms my soul in a chaotic world.

She is such a light for us!”

— Candice, South Africa

“I appreciated hearing Alejandra’s advice to the callers because it made me feel like others have the same problems as me, and I am not the only person who is struggling.

— Karen, New York

“Alejandra did a GREAT job of listening patiently and guiding the participants to their own conclusions.

When one was not moving in that direction, Alejandra, with graciousness and permission, spoke directly to the issue.”

— Francy, Colorado

Answers to questions you may have

What kind of content will be presented?

The calls are all Q&A (callers ask questions and together we discuss solutions). Callers have mentioned how they learn a lot from listening to other callers discuss their challenges and brainstorm solutions with me (Alejandra). You are encouraged to take notes on the call!

What kind of questions can I ask?

You can ask any question and I will try my best to help you while being honest and patient! My job as your coach and teacher is to give you a different perspective you may not be seeing so you have an easier time moving forward. If you’re stuck on something, we’ll talk it out. If you’ve lost motivation, we’ll explore ways to get you back on track. Or, if you can’t get started because you feel overwhelmed, we’ll brainstorm the next best step for you to take!

Who answers the questions?

I (Alejandra, your teacher and coach) answer all questions.

Will my question be answered on the call?

I answer anywhere from 4-7 questions per call. Callers are picked at random. If you raise your hand and you aren’t called on, just send us an email letting us know you tried to ask a question and we’ll look out for your name on the next call!

Do I have to ask a question?

No! If you don’t have a question or prefer to stay silent and listen to other callers with similar challenges, that’s perfectly fine! Feel free to just listen while you sit, clean, or organize something. Past callers have mentioned how they use the phone call as accountability to get stuff done around the house!

Can I email my question instead?

Yes! If you prefer to email your question (instead of asking on the phone while others are listening), that is perfectly fine! However, please know it is much more effective to have a conversation back and fourth with you as opposed to a one-way answer! But I’m happy to answer your written question the best I can on a call! Just email your question in advance and we will answer it on an upcoming call while keeping your name anonymous.

Can I book a private call with Alejandra?

Yes. You can schedule a private, structured, 1-on-1 coaching call with Alejandra to explore your challenges and brainstorm solutions in more detail. You’ll also have access to a downloadable recording of the call. Click here to book your private call.

Will the group calls be video calls?

No. The calls are voice-to-voice phone calls (no visual slides or presentation). Nobody is on camera.

Will the group calls be recorded if I can’t make it?

Yes. The Q&A part of the call is recorded and posted in your online account for you to listen (or re-play) at your convenience! You’ll get access to download the most recent recordings.

I live outside the United States, can I still participate?

Yes! If you live outside the U.S., the best way to join is to call-in through the computer. Once you join, you’ll see instructions on how to join via computer. There are also local international phone numbers you can use if you live in one of the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
