A donate bin.
This is our donate bin. It lives in our bedroom closet. Whenever Ed & I come across something that no longer serves us, it gets tossed into this bin to go back into circulation.
When I was labeling it, the word “donate” didn’t fully inspire me so I phrased it in the form of a question to get me thinking… “what can I give someone today?” since life is about something bigger than ourselves. And what great way to give to others than with the things we already own that no longer serve us!
The bin doesn’t have to be pretty and you don’t need a fancy label (though, the jumbo font does feel FUN!).
Rather, grab a clean bag / box / bin, label it with what inspires you to be selfless, and make space for it somewhere in your home.
When something no longer fits the life you’ve intended, toss it in. When it’s filled, pass it on responsibly.
It’s all about staying on top of the clutter while giving you and your family an easy place to contribute to others!
