In my kitchen I had this really narrow, deep cabinet next to my sink that’s kind of like dead space. When you open the cabinet, it’s really deep and there’s a large electrical outlet in the way.

The first things I thought was “What do you do with this space?” While at the same time, I had my foil, plastic wrap, and freezer bags to organize inside this cabinet. I’m excited to show you what I’ve done to organize this space.

How to Organize Plastic Wrap, Foil, & Storage Bags

I’ve created my own DIY Kitchen Wrap Organizer! To make the organizer I went to Home Depot to get vinyl fence post in the fencing department. Next, I got the post cut into 6, 12 inch long pieces.

Then, I stacked the post pieces and puttied them together so they don’t move. I’ve also used binder clips to keep everything together, and to keep everything labeled (the clips made great label holders).

I’m using this DIY Kitchen Wrap Organizer to organize all of my foil, plastic wrap, and storage bags. I feel like this is now my favorite cabinet in the kitchen, besides my tea organizer drawer.

Everything has its own compartment! You just come here, you grab something and you put it back. There’s no jamming it inside of a drawer. There’s no stacking, trying to get to the bottom one. Everything has its own organizer. I just label each post with what is (like freezer bags, Saran Wrap, foil, Saran Wrap wax paper and then wax paper).
