How To Always Send Birthday Cards On-Time

Do you still send out physical cards in the mail? I sometimes do but I have to admit, in the past few years I’ve been relying on e-cards and FB wall posts to say happy birthday. I’m trying to make a bigger effort to send out more physical cards (its just nice to actually receive something in the mail).

Here’s what I’ve been doing:

At the beginning of each month I have a calendar reminder to re

mind me to write cards for the month ahead (I have all of my family & friends occasions written in my purple address book). I write all of the cards for the month ahead at once (takes about 2 hours).

Once I’m done, I add a sticky note to the outside letting me know when I need to mail the card (I also add another calendar reminder to remind me when to put the card in the mail). I then keep the cards in plain sight on my desk until they’re ready to be sent 🙂
