I don’t know about your circuit breaker but ours is super tough to read. Not only is the handwriting tough to read but it’s super faded!! After needing to flip a switch one day and getting frustrated because I didn’t know which switch to flip, I decided to finally tackle this space.
Here’s what I did to make the circuit breaker super easy to use: Once I figured out what switch was what, I color-coded each of the switches with a different color (e.g., dryer = red, water heater = orange, etc). I then added the same colored dot sticker to the door of the circuit breaker so now its just one big matching game. I also labeled the legend on the door with my label maker (labels won’t fade and shouldn’t peel or fall off). Super easy, super intuitive, and took 20 minutes total.
