Good Morning America (GMA)’s Rebecca Jarvis came to professional organizer, Alejandra’s house to share a tour of her new organized home! Alejandra was named one of the most organized people in America by HGTV and GMA came to check it out first hand! Watch how she’s tidied up all of her drawers, cabinets, shelves, and closets so life at home can be efficient and productive!
First, we gave Rebecca a tour of our organized kitchen! From the color-coded tea drawer (so fun!) to the aqua colored junk drawer to the pantry, we showed her how we organize just about everything in the kitchen to make cooking fast and efficient! Alejandra’s all-time favorite kitchen organizing tip is her $3 DIY lazy susan using two baking pans and a pack of marbles all from the dollar store! Lazy susans work great for storing and organizing items like spices, oils, vinegars, and small round things in the kitchen cabinets!
Next, we headed to my organized office where I spend a LOT of time working and organizing! I showed Rebecca my desk, drawers, filing cabinet, tax drawer, and gave her a tour of my “organizing workshop” (my favorite closet in the house!) where I come to get creative before tackling any organizing project!
And lastly, we headed upstairs where I gave her a tour of our organized bathroom, cleaning caddy (with DIY home-made cleaning products!) and closet where things are sorted by category and contained to make getting ready in the morning super fast and easy!
By the end of the tour, Good Morning America deemed Alejandra the “Decluttering Queen”!
