OK. So let me show you some of my favorite organizing tips.

How to Organize Your Binders

I color-code the binders by using a binder in a color that matches the category. So for example, the Christmas binder is green because Christmas is red and green.

Best Organization Tips For Receipts

Use an accordion organizer to keep your receipts organized!

Organizing Receipts

I use an accordion organizer for organizing my receipts and this one is by far my favorite because it’s colorful. The quality is nice. And it’s really just colorful so it just makes things more fun.

Setting up a Home Mail Center

I have all my mail that’s being processed right on top of my desk. I put a pretty shelf liner to personalize the organizer it a bit. I have my bills drawer and then I have my call/ask/cancel which is basically like if I receive something and a charge is wrong or something, I’m going to call the company. So that goes in there and this just kind of stays right here at all times.

Organizing Tea & Coffee

Best Organization Tips For a Beverage Station

Keep your tea & coffee in a drawer for easy access

I open this drawer and I see exactly what I’m looking for like if I’m looking to drink tea, all the teabags are right here, all the flavors are like in my face. I can see exactly what I’m looking for. And then the coffee pods are right here. I just like – I keep – there are 16 in here total and then I just refill it at the end of the week or at the end of two weeks, however long it takes to get through them.

Linen Closet Organization

And I group all the towels by like size and by type. So all the bath towels together, all the hand towels, all the wash like face towels together, and then all the sheets are organized by set.

Keep your Office Supplies Organized in a Shipping Drawer

So, this is my shipping drawer. So whenever I’m like paying bills or I’m like shipping something, I always come here to grab an envelope like there are the long envelopes, there are the short envelopes. These are like the best thing about this drawer. So I grab or I found all these little poly envelope holders, organizers, and they fit perfectly in the drawer and I just categorize like I just came up with all categories that I would need to ship something so there are stamps, there are checks to deposits – or I’m sorry, address labels, checks to deposits, home record or home receipts, travel receipts, receipts to register and gift receipts.

How to Organize Under the Bathroom Sink Cabinet

Best Organization Tips For Your Bathroom Cabinet

Maximize your vertical space under your bathroom sink

So the first thing we did here was we added this around the pipe organizer. Basically, it’s an adjustable organizer that goes side to side and you have these bars right here that you can move them higher or lower depending upon what you’re storing and then it goes around the pipe.

Organizing Office Paper

This is one of my best organization tips for office paper. I have all of my paper like backup paper like computer paper, colored paper, extra notebooks and stuff inside of this hanging sweater bag organizer.

How to Store Snack Foods Neatly in the Pantry

Down here is where I keep all of the snack foods, dinner foods, and beverages. Basically, you want to keep all the stuff that’s difficult to contain in drawers which makes it a lot easier. So like all the snack foods. They just get dumped inside this bin.

How to Organize a Narrow Kitchen Cabinet

This is one of my best organization tips for narrow kitchen cabinets. Everything has its own compartment. You just come here. You grab something. You put it back. There’s no like jamming it inside of a drawer. There’s not stacking trying to get to the bottom one. Everything has its own organizer. And then I use binder clips to kind of clip them together and then I just label them with what is what so like freezer bags, Saran Wrap foil, Saran Wrap wax paper, and then wax paper down there.

Organizing Ties

Best Organization Tips For Storing Men's Ties

Keep ties organized by rolling them & storing them in your dresser drawer

What I did here was I used these expandable drawer dividers to kind of divide and create different sections here to kind of like I put them close together so none of the ties will unravel. There’s just enough space in between.

Tips for Organizing Children’s Books & Toys

So we’re going to take a blue sticker just like that and we’re going to put it in the back of the book just like that. Now, if you want to put it on the interior of the book, you can do it also. Or you could put it on the back of the book as well. But just put it somewhere. So when your child is going to put this book away, all they do is they just look for the color and say blue, OK, blue goes in the blue bin. So they just put the book right in there nice and easy.

Organize the Bathroom on a Budget

So I found these stackable containers from Dollar Tree and like I couldn’t believe I found them. Like I went to Dollar Tree last week and they apparently just came in. They’re brand new. I bought all of them. They come in three different colors, pink, blue, and green. And they work great and they’re a dollar.

How to Fold Tank Tops & T-shirts

So down here is where I have all of my tank tops and t-shirts. And what I do is I roll them so I could immediately see exactly what I’m looking or right when I open the drawer. So if I open the drawer and I’m like, “OK, I’m looking for my yellow tube top.” Then I just look in the yellow section and I see it right away.

Organizing Home Office Supplies Without a Desk

Best Organization Tips For Storing Office Supplies

Use door pockets to store office supplies

I have used these clear door pockets to store all of my office supplies. I just hang them on the back of the door in my office. The pockets hang with hooks over the top of the door. Nothing is drilled into the door. In each of the pockets I’ve categorized all of my office supplies. So I have paper clips, binder clips, thumb tacks, safety pins, all my markers, more markers, some of my other small office supplies like rubber bands. There’s a calculator, ruler, and stuff… And then I used photo labels to label each of the sections so I know where everything goes and where to put everything back.

How to Organize a Small Laundry Room

I have a bag organizer from IKEA. It was a $1.99 and I got it recently. I showed you guys this in my small budget organization video. And you’re supposed to put plastic bags inside like these bags but I use it for cleaning rags because those needed a home. And now, they’re just super simple to grab. I can just grab one whenever I needed and then just toss it back when I’m done after washing it.

Right here, I just have trash bag that just hangs for like lint and then stuff that’s inside pockets. So I’ll just take it out and put it into the trash.

So those are 16 of my best organization tips. As you can see, organizing doesn’t have to be that difficult. It can actually be fun and easy. And the best part about it is how you feel after you set up systems, after you start getting organized. You just feel so much more productive. You feel efficient. You feel like you have minimal stress on a daily basis.
