Bathroom Cabinet Organization Tips

Hi, everyone. I’m Alejandra from Alejandra.TV. And in this video, I’m going to show you how to organize underneath your bathroom sink cabinet space.

But first if you’re looking to get organized, you can check out my free organizing video series.

How to Organize Under the Bathroom Sink

So when it comes to organizing underneath the cabinet, it can be really an awkward space to organize especially if you have a lot of stuff and you’re not sure how to contain it all and you have that annoying J-pipe in the way preventing you from using standard size organizers.

But let me show you what I’ve done here. This is Ed’s side of the cabinet. And let me just show you the system that we set up that’s really easy to set up that’s working nicely for him.

Organizing Around the Bathroom Sink Pipes

So the first thing we did here was we added this around the pipe organizer. Basically, it’s an adjustable organizer that goes side to side and you have these bars right here that you can move them higher or lower, depending upon what you’re storing. And then it goes around the pipe. I love this organizer. It’s so easy to set up. And the shoe boxes fit really nicely on the shelves.

Let me show you the different categories and shoe boxes we have. So there is shaving stuff, there is dental, there is travel size, there is soap, there are cases, and then is medication. And then what I did here was I used really big jumbo labels because this is a really dark spot. So when you open the cabinet, there is not a lot of light. And so, if you can see the label right there like nice and in your face, you know exactly what’s inside.

Use a Tension Rod to Keep Paper Towels Where They Belong

Next, I used a tension rod to keep my paper towels under the sink, because a lot of times when I’m cleaning, I’m looking for paper towels and I don’t want to go downstairs. Many time, I just take the roll and I forget to return it here. And so, the next time I need a paper towel, I can’t find any. So I put a tension rod under the cabinet through the roll of paper towels to prevent me from grabbing the whole roll and walking away with it. It’s still really easy to change the roll. You would just push the rod down and change the roll. But you’re not going to do that if you’re just grabbing paper towels.

As you can see, the space is super functional. Ed just comes in here, grabs what he’s looking for, and puts it back. It’s so easy to maintain. It didn’t cost that much money to set it up like you can use any size of shoe box. Really, the majority of the cost is buying this around the pipe organizer, which is really great for maximizing your space and going around the pipe.

Is there something that you do to organize the awkward space in your bathroom sink? If so, leave a comment below and let us know what that it is. And if this is your first time watching any of my videos, you can check out my website, Alejandra.TV for more tips on getting organized.
